Onamation(tm) Brings Space Ghost to Life at E3 Conference for Turner's Introduction of New GameTap Division
Los Angeles - May 10, 2006 - Onadime announced its project today to bring cult cartoon character "Space Ghost" to life at the E3 Conference in Los Angeles, May 10-12, for Turner's GameTap online gaming division. To accomplish this stage magic, Onadime will use its patented real-time digital media platform and live lip-sync digital puppetry software, Onamation.
Onamation burst on the scene in 2003. For the first time ever, Onamation brought Bugs Bunny to life with press interviews covering the opening of the movie, "Looney Tunes: Back in Action." Onadime produced 9 hours of live interviews with 80 journalists in three days using Onamation! Since then, Onamation has continued to impress media executives in New York, London and Los Angeles with creative and cost-effective solutions. Onadime has worked on several other live animation projects for Warner Bros., Cartoon Network and Saturday Night Live, and is in planning stages for television pilots, movies and special effects projects.
Turner's GameTap is an online service built to deliver and play games across multiple platforms and systems. GameTap features console games, PC games, even arcade games. GameTap offers the original games - not cheap knock-offs - sized full-screen to fit your monitor.
Onadime was chosen to bring Space Ghost Show to life based on its ability to match any animated look and deliver character performances with live lip sync and multiple camera views.
"We are pleased to play the unseen magician, bringing fans' favorite cartoon characters to life." says Bruce Mitchell, President and Co-founder of Onadime. Phillip Reay, System Designer, Co-founder and Producer, has worked diligently to create and refine the scope and real-time abilities of Onamation. See Onamation live at the GameTap Space Ghost stage at E3, May 10-11, and look for new and exciting announcements to come.
Onadime is a real-time interactive software tool-kit for creative production and live performance. It has been used in multiple world-class productions from the Rolling Stones' 2003-2004 World Tour to a live Blooregard Q. Kazoo of "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends;" from the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies to the MTV Millennium Bunker Project; from the Sony Playstation E3 Concert to classical music, visualizing Haydn's Overture to Chaos for the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. Onadime creates unique live digital media for any purpose.
